Dearest, I’ve been thinking about you.
There has never been a more important time to remember who you are beneath the weight of this world.
I thought of you on purpose, and I hope you’ll come.
For the last nine months I’ve been in deep training with my teacher, Octavia F. Raheem. What that training keeps affirming is simple: the moment you pause and take a breath, something loosens. The shoulders drop. The jaw unclenches. The endless list quiets just long enough for you to hear your own voice again.
Have you ever been too tired to meet yourself? I have.
Rest saved my life. I don’t say that lightly. When I finally stopped performing and laid my body down, I remembered my Divinity, my worth, and my permission to say yes to myself again — before the inbox, before the meeting, before everyone else’s needs. I stopped measuring a good day by how much I produced and how little I rested.
That is the Sankofa I practice: I went back and got myself — the free, bright-eyed believer in all things possible I was before the world told me who I was supposed to be.
I created Pause & Possibility for Black women who are high-vision, high-impact, and quietly exhausted from carrying it all — the team that leans on you, the family that counts on you, the community that calls your name, the standard you hold yourself to when no one is watching.
In this intimate, confidential container, you’ll be guided to breathe, to rest, to journal, and to return home to yourself.
Wrapping you in warm love,
Bibi
